ARGENTINA: Gov't Launches Program To Increase Business Exports
The Argentinean government launched the PotenciAR, a business program aimed to support medium-sized companies to internationalize their operations, increase their exports and develop technologies.
“We have only six Argentine multinationals among the top 100, according to the ranking of the international magazine Am?rica Econom?a, we want to multiply that number,” said Production Minister Francisco Cabrera in remarks to launch the program. The plan offers tools to support the development and internationalization programs tailored to each company.
Regarding financial support, the companies will have credits at a subsidized rate of the Investment and Foreign Trade Bank (BICE) of up to 200 million pesos for Production Investment, Pre and Post Financing Export and Working Capital. Also, there will be Non-Reintegrable Contributions (ANR) for up to 7 million pesos per company.
