Czech Industrial Production Growth At 14-Month High
The Czech industrial production growth in October to the highest level in more than a year, the data of the Czech Statistical office are accelerated Thursday showed.
Industrial production expanded an unadjusted 10.5 percent year-over-year in October, much faster than the 4.9 percent in September. The had only had about 10.3 percent spike economists forecast.
In addition, the last increase is the fastest since August last year, when production grew 13.9 percent.
The production in the utility sector alone rose from 15.4 per cent a year, in October and industrial production grew by 10.1 percent.
On a monthly basis, the industrial production, seasonally adjusted 1.5 percent in October.
Another report from the statistical office showed that construction output rebounded strongly, up by 5.9 percent annually in October, after a 3.2 percent decline in the previous month.
Month-on-month, construction increased by 3.0 per cent in October.
