Dutch Retail Sales Growth Improves Further
Dutch retail sales growth accelerated for the second straight month in July, figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics showed Friday.
Retail sales climbed a shopping-day-adjusted 4.5 percent year-over-year in July, faster than the 4.1 percent increase in June.
In May, the rate of growth was 3.5 percent. The measure has been rising since May last year.
Total food sales grew 3.2 percent annually in July and non-food sales advanced by 4.3 percent.
