Gold Slides As Wall Street Mood Brightens
Gold futures were lower Tuesday morning as stocks look to build on strong gains from the previous session.
Stocks rallied after Hurricane Irma caused less damage than expected, and as tensions around North Korea eased.
All eyes will be on Apple's iPhone8 reveal today.
In the meantime, gold has lost some of its safe haven appeal.
Today will be a slow day in economic news. U.K. inflation rose by more than expected.
Gold was down $6 at $1329 an ounce, while silver slipped 6 cents to $17.84.
