Today’s analysis

The stockholm stock exchange declined during Tuesday’s trading after the strong start to the week. The dollar made a rebound from that have been traded heavily during the last week after inflationsrädslan and thus the belief in higher interest rates. This contributed somewhat to the decline of the Swedish companies. The OMXS30 fell -0,55% to 1513,27 points, with turnover a low of 15.2 billion. The development on the european stock exchanges was around the same levels for the day. H&M yesterday around closing announced that they are abolishing their much talked about utdelningsförsök with newly issued shares rose 0.7 per cent. Peab reported a great earnings and rose 9% during yesterday’s trading and stands out among the construction sector where both NCC and Skanska had weak reports. The reporting period is soon over, where mostly smaller reports remains, with a few exceptions of course.

Today, reports from, among others, Kindred, Boliden, Swedish Match, Net insight, Medivir, Beijer Alma, with several.

So what are waiting for today? In short, very, long said:

Today will be waiting for a really interesting day, and probably the week’s most important makroagenda. It begins with an update on the Swedish housing market, where Valueguards boprisindex presented. Here prices are expected to turn up slightly in the wake of that January has a relatively strong säsongseffekt. Also mäklarrapporter have hintat of greater activity on the market after the autumn lull. The most important thing in the report is seasonally adjusted to the effect. Continues home prices to fall? There will be continued declines, this indicates that the slowdown is not over yet, but prices are rising so it may depend on the seasonality and fyndköpare what the coming months may determine whether the köpviljan has turned or not.

The riksbank provides in addition the interest rate announcement and its monetary policy report. The market does not believe at all on any change to the interest rate but the interesting thing will be the tour for räntehöjningspolitiken. Something that might get more clarity during pressträffen after the minimum bid rate. However, it’s not going to be Stefan Ingves, or deputy governor Kerstin af Jochnick, who keeps in pressträffen when they are paid on the basis of the disease. Per Jansson will take over the responsibility to meet the press ‘ questions and guide around the news. However, both participated in two yesterday by telephone at the monetary policy meeting where interest rate is determined.

The TNS Prospera comes with a inflationsförväntningsundersökning where money market participants have answered the questions.

Inflationsstatistik from the united states, however, takes the prize as the most important during the day, where fear is still present from the last statistics. However, learn not informed to deviate slightly more from the past, when statistics on wages and salaries in particular is a leader rather than laggande. But there will be surprises both ways, it can create movements on the stock markets and in the currencies with the view of the large inflationsfokus that the market has at the moment. For the december rose, core inflation surprising amount of 0.3% m/m and 1.8% y/y, which to the observers saw was due to non-recurring effects. It is now expected that core inflation will drop to 1.7% y/y, while for the month to rise 0.2 per cent.

Technically it continued to be pending after the falls, where the long-term sell signals are wired from the fall through 1573 points. This means that both the short-term and long-term trend is pointing downwards, but where a latent short-term köptryck can appear when the stock market is still oversold. Intensity is only at 1488 points, where also the new long-term sell signals are obtained. On the upside, we have the area around 1520 points that continue to be interesting. Further buy signals in the long run is obtained only at the forcing of 1580 points, which means that we have a continued cautious outlook on any uppstudsar for the OMXS30 index.
