Sweden's Jobless Rate Falls Marginally In August

Sweden's unemployment rate dropped slightly in August, the Swedish Public Employment Service/AMV reported Monday.

The jobless rate fell to seasonally adjusted 3.9 percent in August from 4 percent in July.

The number of unemployed decreased to 188,818 in August from 192,268 in the previous month.

On an unadjusted basis, the unemployment rate came in at 4.1 percent versus 4 percent a month ago.
