U.S. Weekly Jobless Claims Show Unexpected Decrease
First-time claims for U.S. unemployment aid fell unexpectedly in the week ended 9. December, according to a report, released by the labor Department on Thursday.
The report said initial jobless claims fell 11,000 from the previous week uncorrected level of 236,000. Economists had expected initial claims for unemployment assistance on the customs up to 239,000.
